The West of Ireland Open Tennis Championships
The West of Ireland Tennis Open Championships has a long history in Sligo. It is an annual event, taking place over the 3 days of the May Bank Holiday weekend. The Tournament sees players entering from all parts of the country, in Singles, Doubles and Mixed competitions. It is always great to see the large numbers of Sligo Tennis Club members playing in the Event, with plenty of successes. The 2018 Ladies ‘A’ Singles West of Ireland Champion was Sligo Tennis Club member Clíona Walsh!
The West of Ireland Championships 2022 takes place on Sat 30th April – Mon 2nd May. Entry now open.
The Club Championships
The Club Championship is the highlight of the Sligo Tennis Club calendar and determines the Club Champions at all levels, in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
This is an annual Club Event and takes place in the second week of September, over seven days from Sunday to Saturday. Midweek matches commence at 6pm.
